Created in collaboration with Ryder and his wife, Ophelia Mikkelson Jones, this special edition reflects the couple’s natural surroundings and intimate home life in coastal New Zealand.

Crafted from hand-pleated silk, the silhouette is relax fitted, mid-length dress featuring a relaxed polo collar, open front placket, and subtle side slits. Made in India.

Handpleating

Pleats have a long history. The ancient technique was born in ancient Egypt where it was used to decorate the tunics of rulers as a symbol of power and wealth. They used only natural fibers and each pleat is made by hand. Today, Anaak is preserving this long tradition in our pleated dresses and accessories. Due to the hand pleated nature, special home care is required to maintain pleats.
